The Sanctuary Tour

Nike Well Collective is the branch of Nike that commits to delivering innovation, expertise, services and experiences across body, mind and life. In an effort to democratize the pursuit of feeling joy in movement, establish Nike as a go-to and trusted resource for wellness, and empower wellness leaders to serve and grow their communities, in September 2023, Nike tapped into the themes of community and empowerment and collaborated with three wellness and fitness studio partners located in South Los Angeles to create an exclusive, 6-week Nike member experience for everyone who participates in movement and mindfulness. These studios included People’s Yoga, Babes of Wellness, and The Tree Yoga Cooperative, which are all women-owned, BIPOC-owned, and provide safe, healing spaces for diverse communities. The timing of the also tour synced with Latinx & Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15th – October 15th) to further hit meaningful cultural notes.

With each partner studio itself operating as a Sanctuary, Nike Well Collective stopped at each location during the six-week tour to highlight these safe spaces and engage the studios’ communities through curated activations and movement classes. Throughout this Sanctuary Tour, studio members were offered free Nike products and other wellness gear and goodies from local vendors and makers to help promote feelings of health, safety, and well being.
